Cue the confetti! This month, we’re celebrating another birthday at Bella Hands! That means another year of beautiful nails, amazing clients, questionable amounts of glitter, and enough coffee-fueled conversations to fill a podcast.

We’ve celebrated weddings, promotions, vacations, babies, birthdays, fresh starts, and more “I just needed a little self-care” appointments than we can count. Somewhere along the way, many of our clients stopped feeling like clients and started feeling like friends.

That is our favorite part.

Birthdays have a funny way of making you look back, and Bella Hands started the same way many great things do… completely by accident.

For Melissa, nails began as a hobby. A creative outlet. Something that was simply fun. Then it became a passion. Then a career. Then Bella Hands.

And the mission has never really changed.

Create a place where people feel welcome, leave feeling beautiful, and maybe laugh a little while they’re here. If you’ve been here before, you know we’re not the “pick a color and good luck” kind of salon. We’re going to ask questions.

One of Melissa’s favorite things is solving what she lovingly calls “problem nails.” You know the ones. The nails that peel. The ones that chip if you look at them funny. The chronic nail biters. The “nothing ever lasts on me” clients.

Challenge accepted.

Every appointment is a chance to figure out what works best for you instead of trying to force everyone into the same box. That personalized approach is one of the things that has always made Bella Hands different.

The other?

Melissa is a bit of a nail nerd. She genuinely loves learning. New products. New techniques. Better ways to help clients get healthier, longer-lasting results. She has spent years continuing her education and even teaching other nail professionals because this industry never stops changing.

And honestly… neither does she. If there is a better way to care for your nails, she’s probably already researching it.

But Bella Hands has never just been about nails. It’s about having a place where you can sit down, relax, vent about your week, celebrate good news, laugh until you snort, or enjoy an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

That’s a pretty great way to spend an afternoon.

So as we celebrate another birthday, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your nails. Thank you for supporting a small, locally owned business. Thank you for recommending us to your friends, bringing your daughters, sisters, moms, coworkers, and neighbors, and for making Bella Hands part of your routine.
