I am 40 years old and currently live in Milwaukie, Oregon with my partner Chris. I am an animal lover and currently have 3 dogs; Groot Magoo, Ajax and CB, 2 cats; LOKi, Nyx, 10 chickens and a horse; Buddy. I spend much of my free time riding my horse, camping, and traveling when I can. Maui is my home away from home. I also have an extensive tattoo collection and beat ovarian cancer in 2017.
I became a licensed nail technician in 1998. I went to Cosmetology Careers Unlimited in Portland, Oregon. I have focused my talents towards acrylic nails, pink and whites, colored acrylics, sculptured nails and free hand nail art. Additionally I work with problem nails to make them less of a “problem.”
I've been in the salon full time since 2011 and love it! I'm located inside Hair Designers Salon, in the Historic Oak Grove neighborhood.
UPDATE 5/8: I'm in the process of getting my business moved into a new location right on McLoughlin Blvd. The estimated move will be be July or August depending on permits and construction. In the new location I will start offering waxing services and hope to also have technicians that offer lash extensions and mciro-bladding.
I also have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, but my passion for the nail industry has lead me in a different direction. In 2015 I attended a 3 days intensive training to become a certified educator with Hand and Nail Harmony. With my certification I can teach cosmetology students how to use all Harmony products including Gelish Soak off gel polish, Dip manicures, PolyGel, and ProHeison acrylic. I’ve also had the opportunity to work trade shows with my Gelish family which is hard work, but I love every second of it. I continue my education by attending classes regularly throughout the year. January 2019, took a "nail cruise" to the Western Caribbean. It was incredible!
April 2019 I had the honor to be featured in Nails Magazine for a series called “Healthy Tech.”
I strive to give every client personal service and top-notch customer service. I love doing nails and look forward to taking a more active role within the nail industry.
